Our Story

The creation of Silky Petals is a family story. My sister-in-law came to me when she was planning her wedding. She was shocked at the prices of wedding flowers and realized she could not even get the flowers she wanted as they were not in season. She knew I had a passion for flowers and designing and asked for my help.

I teamed up with my mother-in-law and after much research we fused our talents and designed all her wedding flowers with gorgeous silk florals.

My mother-in-law, Regan, and I had such a great experience, Silky Petals was created.

We would be honored to work with you on your very special day and help you create your wedding vision.

My husband and I got married in August 2020 in a beautiful ceremony on the beach in Cape Cod. After changing our wedding date and location three times we were lucky enough to find a location. With the pandemic creating inflation we realized we could not afford the price of real flowers plus the weather was so humid we knew real flowers would wilt and stain our clothes. I also have terrible allergies.

My sister-in-law let me know she was starting a silk flower business and she provided us with the most beautiful blue and yellow silk flowers for our wedding. Without Silky Petals we would not have had such beautiful flowers at our wedding. I could not recommend them enough for anyone looking to plan a wedding.
